How to Sync your ADC Wallet using the Bootstrap File

Please find below the steps to speed up the ADC wallet sync process using the latest bootstrap file.

1. Close the wallet if it is running

2. Download the bootstrap file from: https://mega.nz/#!u09TzaQS!wClE9JnSSIC-DGcCfVTcKOvpFk8UaPj9VH6EzzdzV_M

3. Copy the file into your Audiocoin Folder. The folder location varies between Windows and MacOS.

Windows: users/appdata/Roaming/Audiocoin

MacOS: ~/Library/Application Support/Audiocoin

Linux: ~/.audiocoin/

4. If you are in the process of resyncing an existing wallet then you should rename the current blockchain data folder to blk0001.dat.old (this will be the biggest file in the folder). You should also remove your txleveldb folder if you have one.

5. DO NOT MOVE OR DELETE YOUR WALLET.DAT FILE

6. Restart the client and wait for your wallet to sync

If you follow these steps and see the message “importing blocks” at the bottom of the wallet GUI then your bootstrap file has been found (please see screenshot below).

How to ensure your node can connect to other nodes

Please find below the steps to follow in order to add nodes to your ADC wallet.

1. Close the wallet if it is running

2. Create a text file in your Audiocoin Folder. The directory will vary depending on your operating system.

Windows: users/appdata/Roaming/Audiocoin

MacOS: ~/Library/Application Support/Audiocoin

Linux: ~/.audiocoin/

3. Open the text file you just created and then copy / paste the following list in.

addnode=35.176.14.149:25159

addnode=104.167.2.136:25159

addnode=2.39.219.234:25159

addnode=148.251.69.11:25159

addnode=69.195.153.10:25159

addnode=213.136.94.226:25159

addnode=46.4.113.143:25159

addnode=124.47.89.43:25159

addnode=108.50.194.75:25159

addnode=98.252.173.98:25159

addnode=52.56.111.222:25159

addnode=64.186.120.69:25159

addnode=82.23.22.85:25159

addnode=79.168.204.179:25159

addnode=108.35.116.243:25159

4. Save the file. Make sure you change the “file type” to “all” then change the file name to audiocoin.conf. There is an up to date list of addnodes at https://chainz.cryptoid.info/adc/#!network (click node list under network clients)

5. Restart the wallet.

6. Manually adding nodes. Adding a .conf file as above is the quickest way to add nodes.

You can also add nodes manually. In your ADC wallet select help from the top menu, then debug window > console. Now in the console window that appears you can type in each node manually in the format:

        addnode xx.xx.xx.xx add

then press return and repeat for all the nodes you wish to add.
